What does A Woman’s Place do?A Woman's Place offers support to women during a critical time of life-changing decisions. Our mission is to provide women with factual information about their pregnancy, and their options. We strive to empower women to make healthy and informed decisions about the future of their pregnancy by offering the following services, free of charge:
- Pregnancy Tests
- Health and Safety checklist
- Limited Free Ultrasound on site (for qualified clients)
- Counseling on site
- Mentoring and Life Coaching
- Medical referrals to OB/GYN's, Family Physicians and Pediatricians
- Adoption legal services, referrals and counseling
- Pregnancy Support Group
We understand that an unplanned pregnancy can make you feel alone or isolated. That’s why we offer many programs to give you a way to connect to other women just like you. Through our bi-weekly pregnancy support group, you can meet other women in an interactive environment. Speakers open up discussion on relevant topics pertaining to pregnancy and parenthood. Issues on childbirth, nutrition, breastfeeding, child development, and parenting are some of the things we discuss.
Our volunteer counselors and mentors are women who have been through many of the situations you face, and have a passion for helping young women make the best choices during this time. We even offer post-pregnancy counseling whether you have chosen parenting, abortion or adoption as the product of your pregnancy.
